You can upload iPhoto images and video clips to your personal Facebook profile by using your Mac's Safari browser. Manage Facebook albums directly in iPhoto by adding and deleting photos and editing their information; it's pretty convenient!
Create an iPhoto album in Facebook
To create a new album or add photos or images to an existing album in your Facebook account, follow these steps:
Browse your iPhoto Library, and select one or more thumbnails for pictures.
Click the Share tool on the toolbar and choose Facebook from the pop-up menu or choose Share→Facebook.
If this is the first time you’re using your Facebook account with iPhoto, follow the instructions to allow iPhoto to publish to your Facebook account. You have to log in to your Facebook account by using your e-mail address and password. After setting up iPhoto to work with Facebook, repeat this step.
Your Facebook albums appear on a pop-up menu.
Select one of these options from the pop-up menu:
* New Album: Creates a new Facebook album
* An existing Facebook album: Adds the photos or images to an already existing album
* Wall: Posts the photos or images to your Facebook profile’s Wall
If you chose New Album, type a new album name for the new Facebook album.
To control privacy, change the Photos Viewable By option from Everyone to Friends of Friends or Only Friends.
Click Publish to publish the photos or images to the Facebook album (or click Cancel to cancel).
iPhoto may take a few seconds or minutes to upload the pictures to Facebook.
View or edit an iPhoto album in Facebook
View the albums of the iPhoto images you’ve uploaded to your Facebook account by clicking your Facebook account name in the Web section of the Source pane. You can then select the album and manage its pictures and information.
You can also use your browser to view the album in Facebook by clicking the right arrow next to the album title at the top of the Viewer pane after selecting the Facebook album.
After you’ve created an album in Facebook, you can then edit the album by using iPhoto:
Add other pictures to a Facebook album. Choose an album: New Album, an existing Facebook album, your Facebook Wall.
Edit the picture information published in the Facebook album. After clicking your Facebook account name in the Web section of the Source pane and selecting the album, click the Info button to edit the title, description, and keywords. You can also delete pictures from the Facebook album by selecting their thumbnails and choosing Photos→Delete from Album.
