For this tree-trimming party, you gather friends and families for a kid-friendly Christmas craft evening. The menu offers delicious appetizers and eggnog in to heighten the Christmas cheer. Set up craft tables to let kids help make the candy garland and decorate cookies to hang on your tree.

6 medium apples (8 ounces each), such as Cortland or Granny Smith
1-1/8 cups chopped fresh dill
2.2 pounds Brie (8-inch wheel)
7 cups heavy cream
1 cup sour cream
4 pounds salmon fillet
384 3-inch cinnamon sticks

10 slices dark pumpernickel bread
