You can create contacts on your Samsung Galaxy Tab from a single e-mail. You can also import them from your social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIN.
Create a contact from a Galaxy Tab e-mail message
Perhaps one of the easiest ways to build up the Contacts list is to create a new contact from an e-mail message. Follow these steps when you receive a message from someone not already in the Contacts list:
Long-press the new contact’s name or e-mail address found at the top of the message.
Touch the OK button in the Add Contact dialog box.
The Select a Contact dialog box appears.
Choose an existing contact if you merely want to add the e-mail address to someone already in the list; otherwise, choose Create a New Contact.
Fill in the blanks on the New Contact screen.
Touch the Done button to finish adding the contact.
Grab contacts from your social networking sites
You can pour your whole gang of friends and followers into the Galaxy Tab from your social networking sites. The operation is automatic: Simply add the social networking site to the Tab’s inventory of apps. The social networking contacts are instantly added to the Contacts app list.
