Identifying Private IP Address Ranges

Private IP address blocks are the IP addresses most often used for private networks or home networks. Most networks use addresses in one of these ranges:

• 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255

  
  



• 172.16.0.0 to 172.31.255.255
