Place Icons in a Folder on Your BlackBerry PlayBook

Properly arranged folders on your BlackBerry PlayBook are a beautiful thing — a work of organizational art. It also helps you find things in a hurry. The catch-all folder is the one with the appropriate name All.

When you place an icon in one of the other folders, it will appear there and be displayed in All.

Here’s how to put an icon into a folder to make it easier to find:

1. Tap and hold on an icon.

   
   

   After about a second, all of the icons in the drawer will start pulsing.

   
   



2. Touch any of the icons; drag it up and out of the main section of the home page, and bring it into one of the folders.

   
   

   The folders are labeled Favorites, Media, or Games. When you let go, the icon will drop into place.

   
   



3. When you’re done, tap the small checkmark icon in the upper-left corner.

   
   

   Now when you tap one of the folders, you’ll find the icons you put there.

   
   

To delete an item from a folder, follow these steps:

1. Tap and hold it.

   
   

   The icons will pulse.

   
   



2. Tap the small X below an icon you want to delete.

   
   

   The icon is removed from the folder but still shows up in the All collection.
