After you’ve signed up with Google Blogger (or if you already have a Google account, after you’ve signed in), you’re taken to the Blogger Dashboard.
Here, you set up your mom blog by following these steps:
Click the Create Your Blog Now button.
Type in the name of your blog in the Blog Title field.
Enter your Blogger URL into the Blog Address (URL) field and click the Check Availability link.
This is a mandatory step. Try to choose a short URL that is close to your blog name. (Remember, later you should set up your own domain name.)
This URL isn’t going to be the one people use to get to your site, anyway. You can set up your own domain name to point to your Blogger blog under the Settings tab in the Publishing section once you’re all set up. Instructions on how to do this are on this same page.
If the URL is already taken, Google will suggest alternate URLs that are available.
If the Blogger URL (yourname.blogspot.com) is available, click the Continue button.
Choose a starter template.
Choose a template that is closest to what you want your blog to look like.
You can start posting by clicking the Start Blogging button, or continue working on your template by clicking the Customize How Your Blog Looks link.
It doesn’t matter which one you do first — just explore and play around with it!
