The new Photo Stream feature on the iPad, when enabled, uploads and stores up to 1,000 photos from the last 30 days on iCloud and automatically downloads them to all your devices that have Photo Stream enabled when connected to Wi-Fi.
You need to enable two settings if you want to use your Photo Stream. First, instruct your iPad’s camera to send photos to your Photo Stream by following these steps:
Tap Settings on your Home screen.
Tap iCloud on the left side of the screen.
Tap Photo Stream.
Tap the switch to turn on Photo Stream (it should say On).
Second, if you want to see your Photo Stream in the Photos app, do this:
Tap Settings on your Home screen.
Tap Photos on the left side of the screen.
Tap the switch to turn on Photo Stream (it should say On).
That’s it. Turn it on and you’ll always have access to your last 30 days of pictures.
If you are a Mac user, iPhoto ’11 (versions 9.2 and higher) support Photo Stream. To enable it, launch iPhoto on your Mac and do this:
Choose iPhoto→Preferences.
Click the Photo Stream tab at the top of the Preferences window.
Select the Enable Photo Stream check box.
