Leverage the Service Health Dashboard to Save Time with Office 365

A quick look at the user-friendly admin portal page of Microsoft Office 365 gives you an idea of how easily you can manage your organization’s subscription plan, users, security groups, domains, Exchange Online, Lync Online, SharePoint Online, and the Microsoft Office Professional Plus desktop apps.

If you are the designated admin for your organization, the links below the Support group on the left navigation of the admin portal give you quick access to your service requests, the current service health status of the Office 365 service, and planned maintenance schedule.

Check the Service Health status dashboard when you experience system issues such as signin, audio or video quality, and connectivity, to verify if your issue is isolated or a known issue currently being investigated.

The Service health dashboard displays the last seven days’ performance indicated by icons to denote normal service availability, service degradation, service interruption, normal service is restored, and additional information.

Having insight as to what service is up or down will probably save you a phone call if you know that someone else has already made the call and the Office 365 support folks are working to resolve it.
