Promote your RSS feed to your readers prominently on your blog by using your FeedBurner feed address. You can do this by putting a feed icon in your sidebar and linking it to your FeedBurner feed address (another use for WordPress widgets and Blogger gadgets!). There are a ton of beautiful free RSS icons on TemplateLite.
As your blog RSS feed gathers subscribers over time, FeedBurner will become more useful to you. When you log in to your FeedBurner account, it will let you know how many subscribers you have, and how it grows over time. Your FeedBurner Feed Stats will also let you know how many subscribers viewed your blog posts in your feed, and how many subscribers clicked on links in your feed.
To view your FeedBurner Feed Stats, log in to your FeedBurner account. Click your Feed Title. Your Feed Stats Dashboard appears. Under today’s date, the Number of Subscribers appears first. The Reach number appears next — this number refers to the total number of people who have viewed or clicked the content in your feed. Below that, you see a short list of popular feed items. This information will only appear if you have existing subscribers who have taken actions on your feed in the last 30 days.
