As good as Siri is, she doesn’t get everything right the first time. Fortunately, your iPhone 4S makes it easy to correct her mistakes. The simplest way is to tap the microphone icon and try your query again. You can say something along the lines of, “I meant Botswana.”


You can also tap the bubble showing what Siri thinks you said, and make edits by using the touch keyboard or by voice. If a word is underlined in blue, you can use the keyboard or your voice to make a correction.


Before Siri sends a dictated message, she seeks your permission first. That’s a safeguard you come to appreciate.
